Ikon: Valencia‘s future new skyscraper

The work on the future skyscraper of the Kronos Homes company is starting now as the permission for construction has just been officially given by the Town Hall, even though the marketing process has already started.

This residential complex, made up of two towers, one of 30 floors high and the other of only 14 will be erected at the west end of the city, in front of the Melia Hotel which is currently the tallest building of Valencia with 117 meters high: Ikon, will be 114 meters high and will not steal the title of the highest building of Valencia… The Melia Hotel and the Torre de Francia (155 m high) will therefore remain at the top of the ranking (untilfurther notice)…

The architect Ricardo Bofill is responsible of this emblematic project that will complete the Avenida Cortes in Valencia, a few steps from the Congress Centre and the future football stadium; the total investment amounts to approximately 70 million euros. A total of 203 accommodations, with prices ranging from 176,000 to 2 million euros, will be built with modern and dynamic designs to fit everybody’s needs. Of course, there will be swimming pools, gardens and solariums to enjoy the Valencian climate as well as a fitness center and a social dining area. The appartements have been on sale for the last 6 months and the building should last 3 years. To inaugurate this complex, which will most certainly complete in a harmonious way, a recent, modern and pleasant district of Valencia, see you in 2023 !
